Some are calling this abuse. You know what’s abuse to me? NOT doing anything while your kid is becoming part of the problem IS ABUSE. The kid who gets away with everything will get his ass kicked by the world but luckily this kid has a mom who gives a crap and is hellbent on her son becoming a good man. She did EXACTLY what I would’ve done myself. I have no shame in admitting that. I’ll say it over and over again. The only thing I would’ve done differently is take his facemask off. He knew what he was doing was wrong, that’s why he was covering his face. Hopefully this will wake others up to doing whatever you have to do to make sure your kids know that if mama tells you not to do something, YOU BETTER LISTEN. All talk no action starts with us, the FOLLOW THROUGH is crucial.
My hope for the future is that things like this won’t be shocking. That people of the world won’t be applauding this mom and praising her because it will be full of people who are doing their job of raising kids…well. Just like this mama is trying to do.
